Rev. Dr. Taijuan O. Fuller, Th.D.
Senior Pastor, Beauty Spot Missionary Baptist Church
Rev. Dr. Taijuan O. Fuller is a God-fearing, spirit filled Pastor who grew up in the small town of Fremont, North Carolina. He graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in June of 1989 and spent the next 13 years in the Telecommunications Industry as a Corporate Trainer working with such companies as AT&T, Business Telecom and Sento Corporation. During his days in corporate America, he received the Gold Club Award, the Mark of Excellence Award as well as several AT&T Common Bond Awards.
Rev. Fuller accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in April of 1992 at the age of 21. He has been married for 22 years to Dr. Torica T. Fuller, his wonderfully supportive wife who is also a native of Fremont, North Carolina and is a Family Nurse Practitioner. Pastor Fuller was called by God to the gospel ministry and was licensed to preach in March 1998 at the Hooks Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pikeville, North Carolina under the leadership of the late Pastor J. C. Sherrod. He was ordained in October 1999 under the Bear Creek Baptist Association in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Furthermore, Dr. Fuller has been in the ministry now for 23 years and has been in the pastorate for 19 years. He graduated Summa Cum Laude four times with a 4.0 GPA from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, Georgia and has received the following degrees: Associate in Biblical Studies (June 2001), Bachelor of Biblical Studies (August 2005), a Master of Pastoral Theology Degree (September 2007) and finally a Doctor of Theology Degree in May of 2010. Dr. Fuller has also received an Associate Degree in Christian Ministries and a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University and as of December 2018, has received a Master of Education degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Dr. Fuller accepted his first position as Senior Pastor of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Wilson, North Carolina where he served from February 2002 until September 2007. In September 2007, Dr. Fuller, following the leading of the Holy Spirit, left North Carolina in order to take over as the new Senior Pastor of the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. During his tenure, a new church website has been established, a new television commercial, praise and worship team, a new youth choir, a marriage ministry, a bi-monthly feed the community program, a World Vision Global Partnership initiative, financial and health seminars as well as a youth church fellowship on Sunday mornings. Also, over the past several years, the average attendance in Bible Study has quadrupled under Dr. Fuller’s teaching and leadership with many members and visitors attending regularly. In answer to God’s call to further the work of the ministry, Dr. Fuller relocated to Fayetteville, North Carolina in October 2014 in order to take over as Senior Pastor of the Beauty Spot Missionary Baptist Church.
In March 2015, Pastor Fuller was the recipient of the Pastor of the Month Award. Furthermore, under Dr. Fuller’s leadership, Beauty Spot has grown to several hundred members, experienced record setting attendance in Bible Study, a new Women’s Ministry, Young Girls Ministry and Youth Church Ministry has been established, a new video system has been installed, the mortgage on the church has been paid in full, a kitchen renovation project has been completed, another piece of property adjacent to the church has been purchased, and a new building project addition has also now been completed as the Lord continues to pour out his glory upon the Beauty Spot Church Family. Dr. Fuller believes that God is calling his people into a deeper relationship with Himself so that we will in turn become doers of the Word and not hearers only.
